I really recommend this product, it is very light and very ease to use. In the first place I bought it, because I have a group of friends that have it, and they told me how good it was, so I went ahead and purchase one to use at my house, excellent choice!

This vacuum is smaller than I expected but does great for my laminated floors and getting the pet hair. I have 3 pugs that shed horrendously and this does more than a regular vacuum that I paid twice of much for. My only complaint is since it's small it tends to be top heavy and will tip over when pulling it over a small lip of flooring between rooms.

I love this little vac. It's small, has a very long power cord, long hose, and lots of suction. But it was my first shop vac so I didn't fully appreciate it until my brother broke the hose when he borrowed it for one of his little jerry-rigged projects, and I decided to just buy a new vacuum instead - since the price of the replacment hose w/shipping was the same price as a new vac.

Two vacuums later, I still haven't found one that works nearly as well as this ShopVac. So when latest vacuum bit the dust after only 2 months of use, I finally dug my ShopVac out of the shed, and despite being left out in the weather for several months the darn thing started right up. But at least now I realize what a little gem it is, and I will happily pay the shipping cost for the new hose.

I bought one of these, but model #315-97-00, 7 years ago and another one 2 1/2 years ago as a replacement just in case. Well, both are still going strong. I have found cleaning attachment tools from other vac brands fit nicely on this shop vac's wand.

There can not be enough said about this vacuum cleaner and I have had many spending $100 to $1200(rainbow brand) in the past... but find using this shop vac is a much easier was to clean as:
pros:
* the power is better compared to house cleaning conventional
vacs
* lasts for years
* clogs up less often as compared to other vacs
* very easy to carry around
* you do not need to take it to a repair shop for maintenance
* the vac is straight forward and simple

And all this for that price!


I have found using this vac for hard surfaces and a second upright vac made for carpets only is the best way to clean as:

* the power is so much stronger in both vacs
* less interruptions in having to clean out a clog
* the equipment is much lighter and easier to carry around
* both vacs last a very long time as compared to a combination vac.

I wanted something nice and compact, but I was wary that in getting a small vac, I'd be sacrificing power. Once I attached the wide brush and started cleaning things like my car and the felt top on our pool table, my worries disappeared. This vac is very convenient to store, but it doesn't lack in effectiveness. I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase.
