This Is a great item. Has 3 settings Vacuum, wash, and dry.

Vacuum is only for small particles of dust and liquid, anything larger plugs the air filter.

Buy one Now!!!

I'm not very happy with my new Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub Cleaner. In the first place the vacuum/cleaner is very heavy and hard to maneuver. It doesn't clean my floors very well and leaves my floors very dull looking. It won't go under furniture because it's so bulky. I have to go over the floors twice and again with a shine product. I thought by purchasing this item, it would limit the amount of work involved in cleaning my hard wood floors, but it only adds more work by having to go over the floors again. I don't know how this problem can be resolved unless you make a floor cleaning/shine product to use with the vacuum/cleaner. I'm sorry my husband wasted his $150.00 on this product.

I would not recommend this product to a friend!

I just remodeled my entire house and it has only hardwood or tile floors throughout. This vacuum does everything - vacuums, washes then dries both the hardwood and tile floors. It is so much easier than filling up a bucket with hot water and Lysol or Mr. Clean and running that filthy sponge mop back and forth. It collects the dirt in the lower chamber and just cleans with the clean solution in the upper chamber. It cuts the cleaning time to probably a 1/3 of what it normally would be. It doesn't get in tight spots - I think there are attachments for that, but I don't have them (yet). But for a good overall cleaning, I would recommend it. It is so much easier than a sponge mop and not as expensive as a regular vacuum.

Although I had a bit of trouble getting this machine as the first one sent was defective, the replacement arrived quickly. I have travertine tile (very textured) floors throughout my kitchen and family room and NOTHING has ever gotten them clean of the Georgia red clay where I live! I have tried everything from a steam-mop machine to hands-and-knees scrubbing. This machine WORKS! The only other time I've seen them this clean was after paying for commercial cleaning which was quite expensive. I'm glad I decided to go with a replacement after getting one that didn't work the first time. I definitely recommend! A white paper towel wiped across the floor stays white...amazing.

Picks up the dirt OK, but leaves our floors very streaky. Yes, I used it exactly as directed. Going to fix the floors tomorrow the old-fashioned way, on my hands and knees, with a bucket and a rag. Taking this thing back to the store for a refund ASAP.
